What happens to your money if Sovra shuts down?
Your money stays yours. Because you hold your funds directly rather than through Sovra, your access doesn't depend on the company being around. Your funds live on a blockchain, in your custody, not on Sovra's servers, so they remain yours to access independently of us. If Sovra disappeared tomorrow, your money would still be yours.
How would I actually access my money without the Sovra app, step by step?
Your independence rests on your private key, and you can export it from the app at any time, not just in an emergency.
1. Export your private key from the app settings page. 2. Import it into any wallet app that supports the Base network. There are many, made by companies unrelated to Sovra. 3. Your full balance and history are there, because they were always on the blockchain, never inside the Sovra app.
What about dollars in Earn?
Your vault position belongs to your wallet, so it comes with you. You can withdraw from the vault directly through Morpho's interface, without Sovra.
